SIV.AG Bills 500,000 Users in Murmansk Area

Roggentin, March 11, 2009. SIV.AG is extending its market shares in the Russian Federation.

SIV.AG has acceded to an agreement concerning the extension of the billing system kVASy for its customer - the energy supplier Kolenergosbyt on the peninsula Kola in Murmansk area. The system has been used there since 2005 and will be extended in close cooperation with the Russian customer for the billing of 500,000 consumption points of private customers. Moreover, a module for the billing of 50,000 consumption points of industrial customers will be implemented in the near future.

Furthermore, the agreed service spectrum involves the implementation of interfaces to cash points, enlarged services for the maintenance of the databases, intensive user training, as well as the development of interfaces to the existing accounting system and the local social services departments.

One peculiarity of this large-scale project is the implementation of kVASy - Cost Distribution Billing. Based on this module, additional expenses for energy supply (illumination of stairways, elevator, etc.) for all parties in multiple dwellings will be billed (a total of 1 million meters).

The flexibility of the multi-lingual application kVASy in the realisation of all specific demands of the Russian energy market - from beneficiaries and subsidies to precise consumption-oriented billing - redounded to the Russian partner´s advantage.

In addition to that, SIV.AG and KRES-Allianz plc are planning common projects for the implementation of the product portfolio of SIV.AG, including the billing of additional expenses for further Russian energy sales and power grid companies.

'Thanks to the successful cooperation with KRES Holding, our company has excellent chances for gaining new significant market shares in the Russian Federation', - commented Jörg Sinnig, Chairman of the Board.of SIV.AG.
