Professional implementation concept attested

In only 9 months, SVO Energie GmbH Celle successfully changed over its entire consumption billing, managerial accounting, materials management and financial accounting to the software standard kVASy from the company SIV.AG. Bundled energy from one source

With over 280.000 active meters and a grid area of 3.200 km˛, larger than the state Saarland, SVO Energie GmbH Celle is one of the most significant multi-utilities in the region. Created in 2001 with the merger of the power supply company Osthannover GmbH and the utility company Celle GmbH & Co. KG, SVO supplies 270.000 residents of the districts of Celle and Uelzen as well as parts of the districts of Fallingbostel and Gifhorn with electricity, drinking water, natural gas and heat. Additionally, the company works in cooperation with companies in 49 cities and municipalities in the area of sewage disposal and is responsible for the entire accounting for 12 municipal clients in the water and sewage sector.

Based on its slogan “Bundled energy from one source”, SVO is committed to its role as a high-performance energy service provider of the region. Despite nation-wide increasing electricity prices, the company is still among the most inexpensive providers.

As of 1 January 2001 Avacon AG, a 56.5% subsidiary of E.ON Energie, owns a 64% majority of shares in the company. In 2003 SVO showed an increase of turnover of approx. 12% to 202,9 million Euros.
