The integrated kVASy - Energy Data Management (EDM) guarantees the centralised, redundancy-free management of customer, meter and point of entry data. With its variety of functions, kVASy - EDM meets all market requirements. Through the ability of exact date account balancing, kVASy - EDM allows the exact billing of grid usage and energy supply.
kVASy - EDM comprises the balancing of energy input and extraction (grid balancing), the accounting of excess and short amounts as well as the management of accounting grids. Within grid balancing, the synthetic procedure with difference settlement as well as the simplified and expanded analytical procedure are represented. The excess and short amounts may be determined for both procedures and are transferred to kVASy - Order Management for invoicing. The accounting grid management references the balancing of the total distributed amounts based on the quantities reported by the grid operators.
Portfolio management offers the user vast possibilities for structuring the procurement of energy. The basic functions such as contract entry, contract import, item carrying, schedule coordination and registration, schedule report creation and single contract registration allow for the representation of a structured procurement portfolio. Additional functions, such as risk management based on Value-at-Risk evaluation methods or the Spot Market Trading, round out portfolio management.
Based on past data, medium term and short term forecasts for electricity, gas and long-distance heating can be generated. The procedure also considers influence factors such as temperature or global radiation. Various analysis functions for the examination and evaluation of the forecasts are also available. The algorithms used allow for a fast productivity of the system due to their short learning time.
kVASy - EDM offers the possibility of making the billing relevant data available for billing from uniformly quarter-hourly measured load courses. Here kVASy makes use of the grid operator-specific rate switching times. In the determination of work and services, special metering procedures such as partial and total measurements are supported.
Daily load courses, load courses of freely definable time periods and meter data are transferred in the industry standard EDIFACT MSCONS format. Within the meter data, the rotational meter data, meter exchange data and the change of supplier data are transferred. kVASy - Meter Data Transmission automatically recognises all types of meter data and transmits these in EDIFACT MSCONS. In importing the data, the meters are automatically changed and all readings are automatically stored at the respective points of entry or meters if necessary.
kVASy - EDM allows both the administration of representative and rolled-out load profiles. Apart from the system-inherent VDEW standard load profiles, the user can manage additional individual load profiles. There is also the possibility of administrating grid operator specific holiday calendars. Individual load profiles can be graphically displayed and processed.
An integral component of the time series management is the connection to common ZFA systems. Extensive and individually configurable plausibility checks and correction and/or replacement value strategies ensure a high quality of data. Schedules can be generated both for the determination of the distribution load and the grid load. The time series and timetables can be displayed and processed both in table form and graphically.
