Training Offers
The SIV.Academy offers its customers and prospective users, including the executive staff and experts, from the utility sector, an extensive range of training courses, seminars and workshops.The training courses are divided into standard seminars, individual seminars and workshops, which focus primarily on the use, processes and technology of the application kVASy4. Topics, like annual accounting or user management are tackled in special seminars. During the workshops experts can exchange opinions on various topics, such as quick configuration of test environments, business processes in customer electricity supply and many others.
The specific requirements and needs of the kVASy4 users are treated separately in individual seminars (for example, in-house seminars). Our training offers are constantly enlarged and up-dated to cover new topics, market trends and customer requirements.
kVASy® training courses show the users how to work with the IT solution kVASy4 and its functionalities. During the basic courses new kVASy® users learn the essentials necessary for successful work with the application. Knowledge acquired in the basic courses can be deepened in the subsequent advanced courses, special seminars or workshops for experts. Innovations and functional extensions of the application in new releases are presented in the version-related workshops and release seminars.
Technology Seminars
The participants of the technology seminars acquire technological and technical knowledge necessary for the work with kVASy® and beyond it.
In the seminars special attention is paid to back up and recovery, database tuning, cluster solutions, system software and storage solutions. The staff of instructors includes highly-experienced consultants from SIV.AG and guest experts possessing trade knowledge and know-how.
Classrooms, instructors and methods
The seminars are regularly held in our centres of learning in Roggentin, Meerbusch/Düsseldorf and Magdeburg. All the classrooms are equipped with modern communication hardware and cutting-edge information technology, which create pleasant working atmosphere. Our users can alternatively book the instructors for in-house seminars.
The consultants and independent experts conduct the seminars with regard to the needs of the target group in a clear and practice-oriented way. All the instructors have teaching experience, specialised knowledge as well as practical experience in project implementation.
The teaching methods depend on the type of the seminars. As a rule, the basic courses are held in small groups. This gives the participants a good opportunity to do practice-oriented exercises using the kVASy® training system and to recapitulate the received knowledge regularly. The workshops for experts focus, on the other hand, on interaction and discussion.
